Beaches: Some of the world’s most beautiful beaches are located here and they are all open to the public. Magens Bay, one of the ten best beaches in the world is a mile-long ribbon of sand stretching between aquamarine seas and palm-laden shores. Coki Point and Sapphire provide cove-like settings and some of the most crystalline water you will find anywhere in the world. Morning Star can usually be counted on to have gentle rollers close to shore. But the real surfers head for Hull Bay where, in winter, the waves build over a long off-shore reef.
Restaurants: Numerous restaurants are located in Red Hook Village, a mere 5 minutes by car. Whether you enjoy steak, fresh fish, pizza or local Caribbean fare, you will be pleased at the selection and quality of the food. At Duffy’s Love Shack you can have dinner and fabulous drinks from their award winning exotic drinks menus, and dance the night away. Latitude 18 Restaurant, as seen on the Lonely Planet Television Series, is known to locals for its great food and entertainment at reasonable prices.

Shopping: the historic port town of Charlotte Amalie, located on the south side of St. Thomas, is world-renowned for its duty-free shopping and world class restaurants. With no sales or luxury taxes and no custom duties on items such as watches, cameras liquor, jewelry, perfume, china and leather goods, the USVI is a free port for visitors. U.S. citizens are allowed a duty-free shopping quota of $1,200, twice that of any island in the Caribbean.
